I stand on the outside and watch as my son uses drugs and stays in denial.
During grade school, junior high and high school years he struggled. He was very intelligent and talented in art, inquisitive, advanced in most mental areas and friends were few. Criticism of him was high. As a mother and single parent I worked to aid (probably more than I should) him during some of his challenges.
