While I was ironing today I flashed on a statement a friend made to me weeks ago. I noticed six cans of spray starch in a closet. When I asked why she had so many cans of starch she stated she liked to iron. It dawned on me today that a sense of accomplishment occurs when as you complete each item.

She Is In Detox
During the last few weeks I have written about my alcoholic friend that had lost her home. In order to assist her I decided to salvage as many of her belongings that I could. While I was packing her items I would have discussions about her drinking. She would discuss but was not willing to get help.
Hopefully She Has Hit Bottom
A week ago I spoke about my alcoholic friend that I was assisting in removing items from her home before she is locked out. During the process she would stop to reminisce and I would have to push her to keep moving through. I felt this was an avoidance issue. She would state that her son would tell her the same thing when he tried to get he to clean out areas of the home.
A Friend Assists and Confronts
I have a friend that is an active alcoholic and is days away from losing everything. Instead of allowing her to lose all of her possessions I have confronted her in regards to losing her home, I offered my service in packing and storing her valuable item and aided her in finding someone to buy what she is not taking.
Communicating For Results
Learning when to listen and when to ask questions takes patience and perseverance. This is the step which engages the other person to be open and hear from a new view point.
An example of not communicating and creating a platform which can feel like failure is the following.
Pull Back The Curtain and Females Pay Attention
This administration is playing a slight of hand game and you need to be aware that behind the curtain they are changing the game.
First, Arizona is a state of the United States and they have the right to remove illegal’s. My grandparents had to go through Ellis island, be medically cleared and then had to work and check in for years, and had to learn English before they could ever become American citizens. No illegal’s should be allowed, we have a process and if their country is so bad than follow the rules of ours or change your own countries rules.

A few days ago I was playing bridge with some friends and discovered that one person for years had wanted to do a cook book. As she continued to talk I understood why she wanted this book. As we continued to discuss I realized she did not use a computer and had no idea how to structure. She had all the pieces but was preventing herself from moving forward because did not know who to ask for help.
Become Who You Want
Over the course of years I have heard many parents state what their child will be doing when they graduate high school. When I spoke to the child they usually stated they are unsure what they want to do but are excited to move on. Very few have stated they wanted what their parents stated.
Ignorance Creates Anger
Each day when I turn on the TV I am shown fighting, screaming, and violence of all kinds. I hear stories regarding children attacking each other and trying to hurt, spouses killing each other, attacks in parking lots, etc.
After being around a group of twenty and thirty year olds I have come to realize several points.
