Start your day by giving thanks and attitude of gratitude will inspire your brain. Then upon arising take a cool shower to awaken your physical body. Put on your tennis shoes and walk. Walk around your house or around the block but walk for 15 minutes. Upon returning home get back in the shower and wash again. The question of why would I take two showers is going through your mind, right? The first shower allowed your cells to be stimulated and wake up and when you were walking they were active and energizing your body. The last shower was to remove the dirt and grime which came out of your body from the exercise.
Now that your mind and body have been turned on it is time to fuel the body with healthy, long lasting energy. Natural fruit along with protein can get you started and keep your body going all day. Start with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, apples, but have them fresh. You may have them plain or with cereal, oatmeal, eggs, or yogurt.
The old adage an apple a day keeps the doctor away truly has meaning and value. As I drink my tea I am enjoying my three fruits
